Films you Should see Before You Die, Entry # 1

A Beautiful Waste of Time

Last night, I saw a film so enchanting, it would literally be wrong to not share it with everyone. Bright Star, named after the poem he wrote for her, is the story of Romantic era poet John Keats, and his romance with Fanny Braun, before his death from consumption at age 25. With some of the most beguiling and beautiful art direction an cinematography I've ever seen , this film brings you right into the world of the English countryside in 1818 and smack into the world of John and Fanny, desperately in love, but unable to marry because of his lack of funds and illness. Bright Star is a beautifully fanciful real-life tale that could give Jane Austen a run for her money any day!

This blog shall chronicle the events in my once-fairly-glamorous-and-adventurous-now-mediocre life in northern Florida until my return home to L.A. I'll share with you how I use the scraps and shards of love, color, and life I still retain to get from day-to-day. Wish me luck.
Ready, set, GO!!

Welcome to Gainesville, Florida.
